The Orchids Gallery and the Note Card Sets and Sales areas are new. The latter two will be moved to a different location but until I decide where to put them, they have been placed at the bottom of the Online  Galleries list.  Also new are two writings: Black & White or Color – Why I Chose Color; and Art, Fine Art and Fine Art Photography. These reflect my feelings and beliefs and are topics for discussion. Discussions of the drafts of these essays have been fun and insightful. They are here for your entertainment and comment.

There have been some photographs added to some  of the Online Galleries. Photographs are always added at the top of the Gallery for the convenience of those who have already viewed the entire Gallery.

I hope you enjoy these photographs and I look forward to your comments and/or questions.

As of June 12, 2011:

The Abstracts Gallery has been changed because I found that I had misclassified several of the photographs. There is also a new Writing titled “Abstract Art and Photography” that presents my thoughts on how the two relate to each other.

The Close-up gallery has had quite a few additions and as has the Miscellaneous Gallery. Other galleries have a a few changes or additions. There is also a new gallery for orchid photographs. I hope you enjoy the web site and please send me any comment you have, particularly what you would like to see included in it.

As of May 16, 2011:

What’s new  – Well, this website is a total rewrite of my website.  It was written by Katie Britt to whom I’m extremely thankful. Because it is much easier to update, you should see updates frequently so come back regularly. For now, please review the site and the photographs I’ve included in this version. I will add photographs and writings, hopefully at least weekly and monthly respectively, with photographs being added to the top of the appropriate Gallery. Please send me any changes you think would improve the site.  And don’t forget, most of the photographs on the site can be yours, for a nominal fee, either as prints or as note cards.

One note: The thumbnails for vertical images are cropped to fit in a horizontal frame, so if a thumbnail looks unusual, click on it to see the whole picture.

Enjoy the site and I look forward to your comments,

Richard
